Why to repent now?

Why October 1st?

The solemn and urgent days when the nations will bow before the Most High God of Israel in deep repentance, crying out for mercy for the sins that have stained our lands.

October 1–21, 2025 – 21 Days of Consecration

At this appointed time, the nations will bow before the Most High God of Israel in deep repentance, crying out for mercy for the sins that have stained the church and our nations.

Repent, O nations! The Day of Judgment is near! Nations of the earth, hear the voice of the Lord calling from heaven! Just as in the days of the prophet Joel, the heavens echo an urgent call to repentance:
“Return to me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning. Rend your hearts, and not your garments, and return to the Lord your God.” (Joel 2:12–13)

Our nations are sick, and the illness is not economic or political, but spiritual! Sins multiply like a river of mud invading every corner of society. Corruption of the heart, idolatry, injustice, immorality, and indifference to God’s holiness have stained the land. The blood of the innocent cries from the ground, and perversion is exalted as progress. Just as the prophet Elijah rebuked Israel for straying from the ways of the Lord:

“How long will you waver between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow him; but if Baal, follow him.” (1 Kings 18:21)

The same spirit of deception that blinded Israel in the past is present among the people of God today. We have wavered between God and the world's pleasures, truth and lies, and light and darkness. The time has come to decide!

Be an Instrument of God

Be an instrument of God to help release the greatest biblical revival in history. Prepare your heart for these days of consecration, when every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord!

Will you, your family, church, community, and nation be known as those who humbled themselves before God—and for this reason, were exalted by Him? This will culminate in the beginning of the greatest move of God in history. Will you be part of it? To be part, continue reading.

The Cry Begins at the Altar

The Word of the Lord is clear: repentance must begin with the priesthood!
“Let the priests, the ministers of the Lord, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, ‘Spare your people, O Lord!’” (Joel 2:17)

Priests of the Lord, pastors, and spiritual leaders of the nations: where is the fear of the Lord? The pulpit has become a stage, and the altar, a platform for entertainment. Empty sermons, theologies corrupted by the love of money, false prophets feeding illusions! The Lord requires holiness, but many have exchanged truth for convenience, the cross for luxury, obedience for fame. How long will this continue?

The Sins of the Nations Cry Out to Heaven

Nations, behold your sins before the Lord:
• Idolatry – whether through visible idols or the love of power, money, and the passions of this world.

 (James 4:4; 1 John 2:15; Exodus 20:3–5; Colossians 3:5; Romans 1:21, 25)

• Corruption – not only in palaces and governments but in the hearts of the people, in everyday lies, and in the lack of integrity.

(2 Timothy 3:1–5; 2 Timothy 4:3–4; Micah 7:3; Isaiah 1:23; Jeremiah 6:13)

• The shedding of innocent blood – whether through violence or the murder of unborn children. God hears the cry of the innocent! (Genesis 4:10; Proverbs 6:16–17; Ezekiel 9:9)

• Sexual immorality – normalized and promoted even among children, leading nations into depravity.

(Leviticus 18:22–25; Romans 1:26–27; 1 Corinthians 6:18)

• Apostasy – many who once proclaimed Christ now deny Him. Their love has grown cold, and they have become lovers of self, loving the things of the world, rejecting the true gospel, and the message and power of the Cross. They are now apostates, adulterers, and enemies of God.

 (Matthew 24:10–12; 2 Timothy 3:1–5; 2 Timothy 4:3–4; Philippians 2:21; Romans 16:18; James 3:16)

The Greatest World Repentance in History Is About to Begin!

But there is still hope!
“Who knows if He will turn and relent, and leave a blessing behind Him?” (Joel 2:14)

The Lord is merciful and slow to anger—but the time for repentance is now!

From October 1–21, 2025: 21 Days of Consecration, the greatest call to repentance in history will rise from the nations! Never before has anything like it been seen, except in Nineveh, when the king and people humbled themselves and cried out to God.

And the timing is prophetic: on these very days, at sunset, begins Yom Kippur—the Day of Atonement, the holiest day of the Jewish calendar.

The Prophetic Significance of Yom Kippur for the Nations

Yom Kippur is the day of fasting, repentance, and purification:
“For on this day atonement shall be made for you, to cleanse you. You shall be clean before the Lord from all your sins.”

(Leviticus 16:30)

On this day, the high priest entered the Holy of Holies to intercede for the nation’s sins. A day of weeping, crying out, and humility before the Most High God. But first, he had to repent for his own sins. We, now as priests, can not intercede and repent for the sins of the church and nation until we first personally repent for all sin! (Revelations 5:10)

God would then decide to forgive and bless or to judge. In October, Jesus—who the Father has now given all judgment, and is now the Judge of the nations—will decide for each nation: to forgive and bless with a great revival, or to judge with a great shaking that will eventually lead to repentance and revival in that nation. We can voluntarily obey the word, repent now, stop or diminish the shaking, and enter into revival.

REVIVAL ALWAYS BEGINS WITH TRUE REPENTANCE

Now, God is calling the church in the nations to true repentance! The Lord is giving our nations a special time of consecration—a decision point for our future.

The Call to the Nations

Will the nations bow before the Lord in genuine repentance?
Will the priests cry out between the porch and the altar?
Will the people turn from their evil ways and seek God sincerely?

Hear, O nations, the call of the Lord:
“Sanctify a fast; call a solemn assembly; gather the people; consecrate the congregation.” (Joel 2:15–16)

It is time to tear our hearts—for tears, repentance, and a return to our first love! Repent, nations of the earth, before it is too late!

Timeline – October 1–21: 21 Days of Consecration

• A historic milestone for the nations.
• Across the earth, priests, churches, denominations, councils, ministries, and believers will unite in repentance and prayer.
• At the appointed times, millions will cry out to God, confessing the sins of the priesthood, the church, the people of God, and the nations.

From stadiums to streets, from pulpits to homes and schools, repentance will rise. Worship, weeping, and prayer will fill the nations for 21 days.

This is not an isolated event—it will be powerful and transformative. In Jesus’ name, every media outlet—TV, radio, newspapers, and social platforms—will declare to the world: The nations have bowed before the King of kings.

This will trigger the greatest revival in history—an awakening to mark generations and shake every land.
“For at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.” (Philippians 2:10–11)

Sins of the Priesthood

Spiritual leaders, called to guide the people, have often failed in their holy calling.
• Pride and Greed: “Woe to the shepherds who feed themselves!” (Ezekiel 34:2) Many seek personal glory and enrichment, neglecting the flock.

• False Doctrines: “They teach as doctrines the commandments of men.” (Matthew 15:9) Truth is distorted to please the crowd.

• Hypocrisy: “They cleanse the outside of the cup, but inside they are full of extortion.” (Matthew 23:25) Living in apparent holiness while hiding sin.

• They are shepherds who have no understanding; they have all turned to their own way, each to his own gain, one and all.

(Isaiah 56:11)

They are blind and no longer have an understanding of God’s heart or word. Much of what they do and say is for their gain personally and before men.

Sins of the Church

The church, the body of Christ, has strayed from its sacred mission.
• Divisions and Disputes: “If there are envyings and strife among you, are you not carnal?” (1 Corinthians 3:3) Denominations fragment over pride and power.
• Worldliness: “Do not love the world or anything in the world.” (1 John 2:15) Yet many conform to worldly standards.
• Lack of Love: “The love of many will grow cold.” (Matthew 24:12) Replaced by indifference and judgment.

Sins of God’s People

Christians, called to be light, have tarnished their testimony.
• Modern Idolatry: “They exchanged the glory of God for images.” (Romans 1:23) Worshiping material goods and celebrities.
• Immorality: “Flee from sexual immorality!” (1 Corinthians 6:18) Yet sexual sins and corruption persist among believers.
• Disobedience: “They have strayed from the faith.” (1 Timothy 6:10) Abandoning God’s word and commands for convenience.

Sins of the Nations

As nations, we reflect the urgent need for collective repentance.
• Social Injustice: “Woe to those who enact unjust laws.” (Isaiah 10:1) Inequality and oppression increase.
• Violence and Corruption: “The land is filled with blood.” (Ezekiel 9:9) Crime and bribery abound.
• Rejection of God: “They said to the prophets, ‘Do not prophesy!’” (Amos 2:12). Silencing truth in favor of secularism.

The Call to Repentance

“Repent, therefore, and live!” (Ezekiel 18:32)

From October 1–21: 21 Days of Consecration, we will cry out together for forgiveness and restoration:
• Priests: That they humble themselves and seek holiness (1 Peter 5:6).
• Church: That they repent and unite in love and purpose (John 17:21).
• People of God: That they return to their first love (Revelation 2:4).
• Nations: That they repent and acknowledge Jesus as Lord (Philippians 2:10–11).

Basis for Repentance

God is giving us a time of mercy. He takes no pleasure in the death of anyone but desires all to come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9).

This national and international call is not a movement of men, but a response to the divine cry for the church and the nations to turn completely to the Lord.

History of Preaching Repentance

Repentance has always been the gateway to restoration and communion with God. Throughout the Bible, this call resounds:
• Prophets of the Old Testament: Called Israel to abandon idols and return to the Lord.
• John the Baptist: “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” (Matthew 3:2)
• Jesus Christ: “From that time Jesus began to preach, saying, ‘Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.’” (Matthew 4:17)
• Peter at Pentecost: “Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins.” (Acts 2:38)
• Seven Churches of Revelation: Five of the seven were called to repentance (Ephesus, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Laodicea).

The call to repentance echoes from the prophets through John, Jesus, the apostles, and even to the churches of Revelation.

IT IS TIME TO REPENT!

“This document is only the beginning. Throughout the 21-day consecration, we will be freely sharing more biblical resources to help guide repentance and intercession.”

Scripture Appendix (ESV)

Joel 2:12–13 “Yet even now,” declares the Lord, “return to me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning; and rend your hearts and not your garments.” Return to the Lord your God, for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love; and he relents over disaster. 1 Kings 18:21 And Elijah came near to all the people and said, “How long will you go limping between two different opinions? If the Lord is God, follow him; but if Baal, then follow him.” And the people did not answer him a word. Joel 2:17 Between the vestibule and the altar let the priests, the ministers of the Lord, weep and say, “Spare your people, O Lord, and make not your heritage a reproach, a byword among the nations. Why should they say among the peoples, ‘Where is their God?’” James 4:4 You adulterous people! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. 1 John 2:15 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. Exodus 20:3–5 “You shall have no other gods before me. You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is on the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. You shall not bow down to them or serve them, for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and the fourth generation of those who hate me.” Colossians 3:5 Put to death therefore what is earthly in you: sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. Romans 1:21, 25 For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened… because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen. 2 Timothy 3:1–5 But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people. 2 Timothy 4:3–4 For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths. Micah 7:3 Their hands are on what is evil, to do it well; the prince and the judge ask for a bribe, and the great man utters the evil desire of his soul; thus they weave it together. Isaiah 1:23 Your princes are rebels and companions of thieves. Everyone loves a bribe and runs after gifts. They do not bring justice to the fatherless, and the widow’s cause does not come to them. Jeremiah 6:13 “For from the least to the greatest of them, everyone is greedy for unjust gain; and from prophet to priest, everyone deals falsely.” Genesis 4:10 And the Lord said, “What have you done? The voice of your brother’s blood is crying to me from the ground.” Proverbs 6:16–17 There are six things that the Lord hates, seven that are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood. Ezekiel 9:9 Then he said to me, “The guilt of the house of Israel and Judah is exceedingly great. The land is full of blood, and the city full of injustice. For they say, ‘The Lord has forsaken the land, and the Lord does not see.’” Leviticus 18:22–25 You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination. And you shall not lie with any animal and so make yourself unclean with it, neither shall any woman give herself to an animal to lie with it: it is perversion. Do not make yourselves unclean by any of these things, for by all these the nations I am driving out before you have become unclean, and the land became unclean, so that I punished its iniquity, and the land vomited out its inhabitants. Romans 1:26–27 For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error. 1 Corinthians 6:18 Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body. Matthew 24:10–12 And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another. And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold. Philippians 2:21 For they all seek their own interests, not those of Jesus Christ. Romans 16:18 For such persons do not serve our Lord Christ, but their own appetites, and by smooth talk and flattery they deceive the hearts of the naive. James 3:16 For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there will be disorder and every vile practice. Joel 2:14 Who knows whether he will not turn and relent, and leave a blessing behind him, a grain offering and a drink offering for the Lord your God? Leviticus 16:30 For on this day shall atonement be made for you to cleanse you. You shall be clean before the Lord from all your sins. Joel 2:15–16 Blow the trumpet in Zion; consecrate a fast; call a solemn assembly; gather the people. Consecrate the congregation; assemble the elders; gather the children, even nursing infants. Let the bridegroom leave his room, and the bride her chamber. Philippians 2:10–11 So that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Ezekiel 34:2 “Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel; prophesy, and say to them, even to the shepherds, Thus says the Lord God: Ah, shepherds of Israel who have been feeding yourselves! Should not shepherds feed the sheep?” Matthew 15:9 “In vain do they worship me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.” Matthew 23:25 “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you clean the outside of the cup and the plate, but inside they are full of greed and self-indulgence.” Isaiah 56:10–11 His watchmen are blind; they are all without knowledge; they are all silent dogs; they cannot bark, dreaming, lying down, loving to slumber. The dogs have a mighty appetite; they never have enough. But they are shepherds who have no understanding; they have all turned to their own way, each to his own gain, one and all. 1 Corinthians 3:3 For you are still of the flesh. For while there is jealousy and strife among you, are you not of the flesh and behaving only in a human way? Romans 1:23 And exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things. 1 Timothy 6:10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs. Isaiah 10:1 Woe to those who decree iniquitous decrees, and the writers who keep writing oppression. Amos 2:12 “But you made the Nazirites drink wine, and commanded the prophets, saying, ‘You shall not prophesy.’” Ezekiel 18:32 For I have no pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the Lord God; so turn, and live. 1 Peter 5:6 Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you. John 17:21 That they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me. Revelation 2:4 But I have this against you, that you have abandoned the love you had at first. 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance. Matthew 3:2 “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” Matthew 4:17 From that time Jesus began to preach, saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” Acts 2:38 And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”
